Equipment/Props
Before we started filming, our group focused on preparing all of our props, costumes, and equipment. This was an important part of the production process because it ensured that everything was ready and organized before we began shooting.
One creative solution we came up with was making a
homemade boom microphone by attaching a microphone to a golf club. This allowed us to capture clearer audio without needing professional equipment. This shows how we adapted to our limited resources while still trying to improve the overall quality of our film.We also gathered important props such as fake blood, which helped create a more realistic effect in certain scenes, as well as a flashlight since we were filming in a dark outdoor setting. These choices helped support the atmosphere and mise-en-scène of our film.
Overall, this preparation stage was essential because it allowed us to enhance both the visual and audio quality of Where the Road Ends, while also showing our ability to problem-solve as a group.
