Chill with Mil

 For this project, I will be working with Ella Netivi, and Lujaina said. We decided on making the genre of our short film to be horror because the three of us grew up watching lots of horror movies and are confident we could make a very tense and frightening movie scene. The reason I chose my group members is because I know that they have a very good sense and experienced many different types of horror genres from paranormal all the way through slasher style movies. We are all very close together so it will make it much easier for us to get the scene done.  For our logo, we went for a scarier type of logo, we used the initial of all the group members then put it into a word (MEL) and we put production underneath it. We also gave it a eerie look by having blood dripping down from the lettering, Then we made the text bold black with a red background to match the horror theme.

In this assignment, we were given Different film editing techniques to use in our short film. We used techniques such as Cross cutting, cutaway, dissolve, fade in/out, wipe, jump cut, graphic match cut, and shot/reverse shot In my opinion the hardest shot was the wipe shot, because it took us multiple tries to match our transition in the mirror to the best of our ability, we had the same problem with the other shots just not as bad.
